The indestructible Rambo Amadeus and the Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra are coming to Lisinski on February 27

The legendary musician, environmentalist, and inventor of the solar-powered sailing ship announces that the most interesting parts of his biography are yet to come!

If you didn't know—or had forgotten—that the legendary musician Rambo Amadeus’s real name is actually Antonije Pušić, you will be reminded of this, as well as the immense versatility of this great artist, on February 27 of next year at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, where he will perform a spectacular concert with the Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra!

This cult musician, poet, composer, innovator, philosopher, and social activist—but above all, a chronicler of the times in which he lives and works—was born in Kotor and is a passionate sailor in his spare time.

His songs are an original blend of various genres, while his satirical lyrics skillfully analyze and critique contemporary society and its anomalies. He has recorded around twenty studio and live albums, the latest being Brod Budala (Ship of Fools). He has composed music for numerous theater productions and for Fritz Lang’s 1927 silent film Metropolis, and also composed a cadenza for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto in C major.

Among other accolades, he won a Saatchi & Saatchi award for best radio commercial and the Golden Rose of Montreux in the "Best Copyright" category. He has acted in several films, released dozens of studio and live albums, and wrote the opera Pasija po Stelli (The Passion According to Stella), which premiered at the KotorArt festival in 2019.

Founded in 2024, the Macedonian National Jazz Orchestra has quickly become one of the leading large jazz ensembles in Southeast Europe.
