Vlatko Stefanovski presents "Acoustic Night" at Lisinski
One of the most celebrated guitarists in Southeast Europe, guitar virtuoso Vlatko Stefanovski, is coming to the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall with his special concert programme, "Acoustic Night." Set in the intimate atmosphere of one of the region's most prestigious concert venues, the evening will offer audiences a journey through the remarkable career of an artist who has been pushing the boundaries of musical expression for more than five decades. Renowned for his unique blend of rock, jazz, ethnic and classical influences, Stefanovski will perform a carefully selected repertoire spanning his extraordinary career—from timeless compositions created during his years with the legendary band Leb i Sol to highlights from his acclaimed solo work. Presented in an acoustic setting, the concert will showcase his exceptional virtuosity, emotional depth and unmistakable musical voice.
Born in 1957, Vlatko Stefanovski began his professional career while still in high school and rose to international recognition as the founder and guitarist of the iconic band Leb i Sol, with whom he recorded thirteen albums and performed on major stages around the world. He later established a distinguished solo career, releasing numerous albums, composing music for film, theatre and ballet, and collaborating with many renowned artists from both the regional and international music scenes. Throughout his career, Stefanovski has performed with string ensembles, jazz orchestras, symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles across the globe, while remaining true to his distinctive musical language and his constant desire to explore new artistic directions.
