The multimedia dance-theatre performance “Why Me brings a touching story about the everyday life of a woman with multiple sclerosis. Through movement, music, and words, we are taken into the world of Tadeja Polanšček – a mother, wife, and friend – whose desire for a “normal” life is extraordinary. She wants to live for her children, her husband, but above all – for herself! She hates the disease yet accepts it at the same time. Sometimes she feels trapped and wants to scream out all her pain and helplessness. Still, she understands that the disease is part of her body, but with defiance and courage she strives to reject everything that holds her back.

On the occasion of the National Day of Multiple Sclerosis (September 26), the Association of multiple sclerosis societies of Croatia is organizing this charity performance with the aim of encouraging people with MS, raising public awareness on the disease, and fostering unity, understanding, and support.

Be part of an evening that unites art, courage, and humanity.
Let’s show together that no one has to go through the struggle alone.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to support programs for people with MS.

We kindly ask people that use a wheelchair to contact the Association of multiple sclerosis societies of Croatia when purchasing tickets.
