Within CEMAN – the Central European Music Academies Network, founded on the initiative of the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory of Music in Trieste, in cooperation with the Central European Initiative (CEI), an international orchestra was established with the aim of promoting talented young musicians from the CEI region. The orchestra provides them with opportunities to gain professional experience and to participate in international music projects and concerts. The CEMAN Orchestra project is realized through the collaboration of music academies from Banja Luka, Belgrade, Bucharest, Budapest, Cetinje, Chișinău, Kyiv, Ljubljana, Tirana, Trieste, and Zagreb. The concert cycle “Young Musicians for Young Audience” was launched by the Jeunesses Musicales Croatia in 1992, in cooperation with the Academy of Music University of Zagreb. Under the title “Musical Talents,” its goal was to present the most outstanding Academy students through concerts at the Croatian Music Institute. Over the years, the program has supported numerous artists who are now internationally recognized and has emphasized the importance of continuous support and promotion of young musicians. Through this cycle, Jeunesses Musicales Croatia has also encouraged and inspired other organizations and institutions to systematically support young talents through concert activities and by following their artistic development. The “Young Musicians for Young Audience” program is conceived as a platform for presenting the most successful young musicians to their peers, as well as to the wider Zagreb audience. The cycle embodies genuine support for artists at the beginning of their careers, those who are still finding their audience and who need an additional incentive for further artistic development.
