Aljoša Jurinić is in love with Chopin's music. He is his favourite composer, to whom he devotes himself with all his heart and inspiration. His perfect technique enables him to deliver a mature and logical interpretation full of emotions and beautiful details. His melodies are tuneful, dynamics full of contrasts, his rhythm is exciting and youthfully playful. After all, Chopin (1810-1849) was also very young when he wrote and premiered that concerto (1830). Aljoša Jurinić’s sensational performance was rewarded with a big round of applause and ovations from the large audience and the young musician played two more, shorter pieces by Chopin – Nocturne in D flat major, Op. 27, No. 2 and Etude in F minor, Op. 25, No. 2 (Višnja Požgaj, KLASIKA.hr, 16 December 2015)

Pianist Aljoša Jurinić is a music hero of our time, the first pianist from Croatia and this part of the world who managed to make the final (among 10 best pianists) of the greatest and most prestigious piano competition - the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.  But Aljoša Jurinić does not rest on his laurels; after the Chopin Competition in Warsaw, he also made the final of the great and demanding Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and won the competition! He gives recitals and appears with orchestras in Croatia and numerous European countries. He has appeared at the following festivals: the Split Summer, the Osor Music Evenings, the Zagreb Summer Evenings, the Puccini Festival (Torre del Lago, Italy), the Nohant Festival (France), From Easter to Ascension (Tbilisi, Georgia), the Kiev Summer Evenings (Ukraine), Serate Musicali (Milan) etc. He made his debut in London in 2007 and at New York’s Carnegie Hall in February 2015. He obtained the highest graduate degree in the concert performance piano program (Konzertexamen) at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar under Professor Grigory Gruzman. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb under Professor Ruben Delibaltayan. For two years, he studied at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna under Professor Noel Flores, and then he received further music training with professor Eliso Virsaladze at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Italy, for three years.
