Croatian Radiotelevision will mark a major milestone with a gala concert celebrating 100 years of Croatia’s public broadcasting service, including 100 years of radio and 70 years of television. Inspired by the campaign “Forever First”, the celebration will revisit the most memorable moments that HRT has documented, created, and shared with its audiences throughout the decades – from historic events and defining social moments to unforgettable sports, music, and television memories. Through music, archival recordings, and special programe features, audiences will have the opportunity to relive moments that have shaped the collective memory of generations. Throughout an entire century, HRT has remained faithful to its role as a public service broadcaster – to inform, educate, and connect society while following the development of technology and media from the earliest radio broadcasts to today’s digital platforms. The celebration of HRT’s 100th anniversary is dedicated to all generations of people whose knowledge, talent, dedication, and hard work helped build Croatian radio and television, creating a medium that has been present in the lives of viewers and listeners for decades. By celebrating its rich tradition and heritage, Croatian Radiotelevision continues to create new moments for generations to come.
