Farewell tour

 

Anyone who has been to Cuba could experience the unique feeling of life that a live performance of a Cuban band offers: an unforgettable, incomparable, special experience. The life instinct of the people who have gone through so many tribulations – despite the many tears and pain – is unbroken, they preach the unconditional love of life and the search for happiness at every moment, and for Cubans music and dance are the way to happiness. Each of their songs is a true story of a life, in a unique performance that captivates every viewer and transports them to the Caribbean island.

 

The star of the hot, cigar-smoky nights of Cuban clubs, the No. 1 favorite of the Cuban people, the band HABANA SOCIAL CLUB has added solo dancers from the world-famous Tropicana Club for its last world tour in 2024, and thus awaits all those who want a real Caribbean experience with a special show.

 

Chavez Alberto Reyes, the band's front man, is currently singing on Cuba's most famous stage, El Guajirito. This is where what no one expected happened. One day, a famous American producer visited the nightclub, where he heard Chavez sing live and fell in love with his voice. The sequel of this was that in 2025 Alberto will sing in his own show in Las Vegas. The Habana Social Club will therefore take part in a huge concert tour in Europe for the last time, visiting 9 countries. This is how they say goodbye to their audience!

 

According to both the Cuban and Latin American press, HABANA SOCIAL CLUB is the worthy and only official successor to Buena Vista Social Club, with as many catchy hits as its predecessor. In 2014, Buena Vista Social Club said goodbye to its audience as part of the Adios Tour, after which the popularity of Habana Social Club grew even more. With a history of more than half a century, some of the founding members of Habana Social Club have passed away, and the current 11-piece band has been renewed several times over the decades, with young virtuoso musicians joining the older members.

 

According to founders Francisco Sanchez Ramos and Rubén Gonzalez, "The Cuban people have a song that is connected to their lives, their destiny, their memories, and that speaks to all the people of the world, and everyone, without exception, can feel our sorrow and our happiness. This musical heritage demands enormous humility and responsibility from us as performers." During the concert tour, as attendees of the special show, we can experience the Cuban way of life: in addition to the songs of HABANA SOCIAL CLUB, we can also hear acoustic arrangements of many Latin American world hits. his journey in music will include the greatest Cuban hits Flor palida, Chan-Chan, Bailando, Vivir Mi Vida, El Carneval, Guantanamera, Caballo viejo, Represent Cuba and Anhelo which was also covered by Ricky Martin.

 

The unique musical treat of the concert for all ages, the authentic scenery, the dancers of the famous Tropicana Club, the colorful costumes, and the projection evoking the atmosphere of everyday life in Havana make the evening unforgettable.
