One of the most famous dance ensembles in the world, the Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili, is returning to the Lisinski!

After sold-out performances in May 2023 and April 2024, the Georgian National Ballet once again brings the Zagreb audience a spectacular performance accompanied by an orchestra with unique instruments whose sounds tell the musical history and tradition of authentic Georgian dance for more than 75 years.

With incredible skill on stage and exciting choreographies that defy gravity, they have earned names such as “flying Georgians”, “eighth wonder of the world”, “hurricane on stage”, “miracle from Georgia”, “poetry in motion”, “the best dancers in the world” and others, and have been declared “the best show on Broadway” several times.

Sukhishvili was founded in 1945 and quickly gained a reputation that has spread throughout the world. In over 75 years of existence, they have performed in more than 100 countries on all continents, on the most famous and largest stages in London, New York, Paris and Milan. On more than 300 regional and world tours with about 20,000 performances, they have delighted over 90 million people and placed Georgian dance on the world map.
The ballet ensemble always performs accompanied by its own orchestra, composed of musicians who have been trained to play Georgian traditional instruments for generations.

The complex and demanding choreography combines the perfectly synchronized movements of the troupe with the amazing technical skill of the individual performers: energetic male dancers deftly fly through the air, clashing with swords and daggers, competing in the dynamics of movements and jump height to win the affection of elegant female dancers who gracefully float across the stage with meticulous steps.
