Tonight's concert marks the 160th anniversary of the founding and 160 years of continuous work of one of the oldest amateur music societies in Croatia – the Croatian Graphic Music Association "Sloga" from Zagreb. It was founded in 1866 by the typographers of the city of Zagreb as the "Croatian Typographic Singing Society Sloga". In the period from World War II to 1991, the Society operated under the name Graphic Cultural and Artistic Association "Ognjen Prica". Today it is Sloga again, but unfortunately there is no longer a choir, only mandolinists and accordionists remain.

The program will feature:

The Younger Mandolin Orchestra and the Mandolin Orchestra of the HPD Jeka from Samobor, conductor Maksimilijan Borić, mandolin professor

Accordion Orchestra, conductor Mladen Landau, Magdalena Rogošić, mezzosoprano

Orchestra of Mandolinists and Guitarists, conductor Mladen Landau, Mima Karaula, soprano

The program includes works by Nikša Njirić, Vlado Sunko, Adalbert Marković, Miroslav Lončar, Igor Kuljerić, Branko Starac, Pavle Sviličić, Darko Domitrović, Tihomir Ranogajec, Ernest Dvoržak, Renato Bui, Rudolf Wurthner, Ivo Tijardović, Charlie Chaplin and Alfi Kabiljo.
We would like to highlight two Croatian premieres: Mandolin Midnight Music by Darko Domitrović and Ragtime by Tihomir Ranogajec.

The concert is sponsored by the Trade Union of Printing and Media Industry, and co-financed by the City of Zagreb and the Ministry of Culture and Media.
