A bow to the Dedić family

One of the most beautiful musical projects dedicated to the work of the great singer-songwriter Arsen Dedić returns to the stage of the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall this year. "Zoran Sings Arsena", in which the prominent singer-songwriter Zoran Predin brings a personal and emotional interpretation of Arsen's timeless songs, will be held on October 15, 2026.
The special guest of this year's edition will be the internationally recognized artist Amira Medunjanin, whose unique voice has been captivating audiences around the world for years. Her participation further enriches the concert and opens up space for an interesting meeting of different musical sensibilities on the Lisinski stage.
The program brings some of the most beautiful compositions written by Arsen Dedić, an author whose lyrics and melodies have marked generations of listeners. The audience will have the opportunity to hear songs such as “Kuća pored mora”, “Sve što znaš o meni”, “O mladosti”, “Tvoje nježne godine” and “Moderato cantabile”, classics that are permanently inscribed in the history of regional chanson and singer-songwriter music.
The musical backbone of the project consists of arrangements signed by violinist and composer Bruno Urlić, who performs with Predin on stage in the virtuoso band Damirov Django Group. Their recognizable blend of jazz, swing and gypsy jazz gives Arsen’s songs a new, fresh musical outfit.
Zoran Predin is one of the most recognizable singer-songwriters and authors in the former Yugoslavia. He became known to the wider audience as the frontman of the cult Slovenian band Lačni Franz, one of the key bands of the new wave of the 1980s. After the group broke up, he began a successful solo career during which he released a series of acclaimed albums and collaborated with numerous musicians and orchestras across the region. Over the course of a decade, Predin has developed an authorial and performing style that combines chanson, rock and singer-songwriter traditions. He has released more than thirty albums - studio, concert and authorial projects, among which Praslovan, Lovec na sanje, Na konca naše mavrice and Zoran pjeva Arsena, dedicated to the songs of Arsen Dedić, stand out. The project "Zoran pjeva Arsena" thus became a sincere and profound musical dedication to Arsen Dedić and a kind of bow to the Dedić family, whose artistic legacy has permanently marked the cultural space of these regions.
