Zabranjeno Pušenje accompanied by a string quartet at Lisinski!
A new “Zabranjeno pušenje as Neuštekani” concert awaits us at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, this time with a special accompaniment by a string quartet. The Neuštekani project, which premiered in Zagreb a year ago, has attracted great attention from the audience and critics from the very beginning. A more intimate approach, acoustic performances without an electric “crutch” and a focus on lyrics and emotion quickly brought the band a series of sold-out gigs across Croatia and the region, including multiple dates in Split, Osijek, Rijeka, and guest appearances in Munich and Vienna, confirming that this format truly resonates with listeners.
Zabranjeno Pušenje, founded in 1980 in Sarajevo and known throughout their career for their blend of witty lyrics, social commentary and rock energy, has a number of important releases in their discography. Das ist Walter, Dok čekaš sabah sa šejtanam or Pozdrav iz zemlje Safari, brought us the inevitable hits “Ibro Dirka”, “Balada o Pišonji i Žuga”, “Zenica Blues”, “Hadžija ili bos”, “Srce, ruka, lopata” and many others, and in 2025 the band released two live albums: Pušenje ubija and Uživo u Lisinskim.
