Thomas Ospital, organ

A new global star organist, an amazing young artist, prominent and multi-decorated French organist Thomas Ospital is coming to Lisinski Hall.  Since 2015, Ospital has been the organist of the famous parish church of Saint-Eustache in Paris. He succeeded the famous Jean Guillou and since 2016, he has been the resident organist of Radio France in the Radio France Auditorium. Ospital has had guest appearances throughout Europe, Russia and the USA, as a soloist, chamber musician and with orchestras. Inspired and exciting improvisations take up an important place in his concert repertoire. From the academic year of 2017/2018, he will start teaching at the prestigious Paris Conservatory of Music, where he will join the group of professors in the Department of Organ and Organ Improvisation. Really, a true master, a young and uncompromising visionary for the magnificent organ built by Werner Walcker Mayer in 1974.  The organ is a trademark of Zagreb’s temple of culture – Lisinski Hall. With its significance, size, technical and interpretation possibilities, it occupies a significant place in organ art. In cooperation with the Heferer Organ Festival, Lisinski Hall is offering you an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of its sound.
