La Fura dels Baus is a theatre group from Barcelona that has been conquering the world with its unique vision of theatre since 1979. They drew the broadest global public attention with their contribution to the unforgettable spectacle of the Opening Ceremony of the Barcelona Olympics. Insatiable curiosity, brave exploratory spirit, highly aestheticized expression combined with the latest theatrical technical solutions... all this is the content of the great “Furan” creative workshop.

Free Bach is a free interpretation of J.S. Bach's Peasant Cantata (Bauernkantate) BWV 212 from 1742. Burlesque, comedy, social criticism, the temptation of worldly pleasures. All these are the concepts, with which the “Furans” and Bach are inviting us to their lavish table in the tavern of electronic music, multimedia images, flamenco... of a miraculous, unexpected, new theatrical and film poetics.
